Today’s highlights:

  • Andy and I went for a run on a rail trail in Jacksonville.
  • We visited county seats of two counties:  Onslow and Lenoir.
  • I went to Harris-Teeter at Bells Fork to get oat-based fake ice cream for my father.  I also took him a ream of copy paper.
  • We had a Zoom beer hour with Jay.

Today’s ice cream:  Ben & Jerry’s The Tonight Dough (half-pint slices)

Today’s beer:  Torch Pilsner from Foothills Brewing in Winston-Salem and Long Weekend IPA from Mother Earth Brewing in Kinston.

Today’s pet peeve:  When you learn that Heritage St in Kinston is really spelled Herritage St.

Word of the day:  Frisson
