Today’s highlights:
- I cleaned up the office (including some decluttering) and my room.
- Nurse Alicia came to visit my mother.
- We had a Zoom birthday party for Lakin.
- My mother walked outside into her walled garden for the first time to inspect our handiwork.
- I ran a virtual 5k run at the South Tar River Greenway, followed by a cool-down walk around the town common:
- Brahms: 2 Rhapsodies, Op 79
- Brahms: Sonata in F minor, Op 34b for two pianos (after the Quintet Op 34)
- Brahms: Hungarian Dances for piano four hands, WoO (#1-3)
- I helped Andy virtually water the plants.
- We had a Zoom beer hour (or two) with Jay.
Today’s ice cream: Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla (True confession: about halfway through I added some dark chocolate M&M’s…just to give it some crunch)
Today’s beer: Midnight Summit and Gaelic Ale from Highland Brewing Company in Asheville.
Today’s pet peeve: People who don’t follow the one-way arrows at the grocery store.
