20200401 NC county map

Today’s highlights:

  • Dr. Berson called to check on my mother.
  • My daughter called today to ask for advice.
  • The bed rail that I had ordered for my mother arrived.  This will help her transition from a lying to sitting position more easily.
  • After our dark and stormy night, we had a sunny (but cool) day.  I went for a walk before dinner including loops in White Oak Creek and Shamrock.  I listened to Brahms’s double concerto and his first violin sonata.

Today’s ice cream:  Ben & Jerry’s Cannoli

Today’s beer:  Sisters of the Moon IPA from Mother Earth Brewing in Kinston.

Today’s pet peeve:  Sidewalks that abruptly end.

Today’s tip:  If you have more pints of Ben & Jerry’s than will fit in on your shelf, flip half of them upside down.  You can pack them in much tighter that way.  (I know things.)

Word of the day:  Loony.
